The ‘’Domaine Laurent Dufouleur’’ was born in Mercurey, in the heart of Burgundy, originated from the desire of a passionate winemaker to express his pride for his name recognized within the region, as well as for a powerful soil, synonymous with quality and demand.
Created in 2016, our Domain is the fruit of a rich history and is susceptible to today’s demands, especially towards sustainable development (level 3 HVE certification). Today, it comprises 17 hectares exploited with a specific knowledge of what makes the quality and the particularity of the Côte Chalonnaise subregion.

With his wealth based upon a Burgundian and familial know-how for more than 400 years, Laurent Dufouleur is attached to the mission of producing an exclusive collection completed with passion and engagement. This helps to understand this key term : « Burgundy in legacy ».
Even the name of Dufouleur refers to vineyard’s crafts for the XIIth century : the person who treads is the one who crushes grape berries to extract their juice. From this time, we can find family testimonies since 1596 about the Côte de Nuits.
